Where are you from / based? | |
| How would you describe your style of trance (producer or DJ)? PRODUCER: Like most artists, I am very critical of my older stuff because evolution is constant. That said, from my oldest tracks until today, I do have a distinctive, complex and multilayered sound - if you do not "enter inside" the music, you will likely only hear "sound". Like surfing... either you catch the wave and then riding it is a natural high, or you miss it altogether. ;-) DJ: A healthy mix of my own stuff and whatever I have that is fresh at the moment and fits into the set...I don't prepare specific tracklists in advance, I prefer to work dynamically with the unique energy of each dancefloor... |

| How long have you been producing / DJing? DJing since 1998 and started producing in 2001. |

| Your musical background and influences? Background: basic music courses at school. Influences: reggae, rock, world music and, in trance, artists like Bonky (RIP), Kulu, lots of Russians!!, and more recently Kashyyyk. Darkshire has given me a new appreciation for atmosphere and synths. |

| Favorite party/festival attended: I was living in Portugal when the first Boom festival happened and have been to all. Boom has served a unique function in our community as a true global-tribe meeting point...we will see what the future brings. |
